Flexographic Press Operator Trainee
Job Description:
As the Flexographic Press Operator Trainee, you will learn all the skills necessary to set up and run flexographic label and tag orders. This is an entry level position where the employee will be assessed for advancement to the position of press operator after a six-month introductory period. This is a full-time position with a schedule Monday through Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm.The Flexographic Press Operator Trainee will train under our Press Operators in all aspects of preparation, such as bringing all job components to the press (inks and coatings, materials, printing plates and tooling), registration for each print job, and running the flexographic printing press. They will acquire the skills necessary to minimize raw material waste while meeting ISO 9001-2015 and GMI quality standards. They will learn how to assist in inventory reporting of raw materials, as well as reporting print job tracking. They will also be taught hands-on experience in all facets of maintaining and cleaning the press.
Requirements / Education / Experience:
High school graduate or equivalency certificate (GED). Prior experience in packaging, manufacturing, or printing is a plus but not necessary.What We Offer:

Job Description:
As the Quality Control / Finisher Trainee, you will be crucial in preserving our high level of production quality by inspecting complete labels, preparing the finished product for the final stages of delivery, and following customer-specific instructions.The Quality Control / Finisher Trainee will inspect labels for quality using ISO 9001-2015 and GMI quality standards. They will learn machinery used for rewinding labels and prepare completed jobs for packaging as needed – counting, fan folding, stacking, and wrapping. They will also learn about machinery measurement systems and counters, follow safety procedures and document protocols.
